{A bomb blast in Nyabusheshe village, Butare cell of Kigoma sector in Nyanza district yesterday killed one person leaving three others injured. }<\/p>\n

IGIHE has learnt that the four affected people include children aged between 4 and 12 who were collecting old metals where they picked a bomb and hit it until it blasted.<\/p>\n

It is said that the four affected children were with a 42-year old man. <\/p>\n

The bomb blast has been confirmed by police spokesperson in Southern Province, CIP Andre Hakizimana. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an old bomb which children picked among old metals they collected and blasted as they hit it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He explained that the bomb may have been left during wars that took place in Rwanda. <\/p>\n

The 12-year old child who was hitting the grenade has died while others including a child aged 4 and a 42-year old man were injured and are getting medical attention at Nyanza hospital. <\/p>\n
