{"id":28789,"date":"2016-09-21T03:58:23","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T03:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/tigo-rwanda-makes-new-appointments\/"},"modified":"2016-09-21T03:58:19","modified_gmt":"2016-09-21T03:58:19","slug":"tigo-rwanda-makes-new-appointments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/tigo-rwanda-makes-new-appointments\/","title":{"rendered":"Tigo Rwanda makes new appointments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Tigo, a leading telecommunications company with over three million customers in Rwanda, has appointed Fabrice Ndatira, as Chief Technology Officer and Laetitia Uwera, as Chief Human Resources Officer.<br \/>\n }<br \/>\nFabrice Ndatira, who was most recently Tigo Rwanda\u2019s Head of Engineering, replaces Amir Abdelazim while Laetitia Uwera, who replaces Elizabeth Mwangi, was formerly Learning &#038; Development Manager-Africa\/Europe for Millicom, Tigo Rwanda\u2019s parent company.<\/p>\n<p>{{Fabrice Ndatira, Chief Technology Officer Tigo Rwanda}}<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-15150 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/unnamed-21.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Commenting on his appointment, Ndatira said, \u201cI am very humble by this opportunity given to me and consider this as a sign of trust to the strong and committed team we have Tigo Rwanda\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Kasai, DR Congo, Ndatira is one of Tigo\u2019s longest serving employees, having first joined Tigo in April 2009 as a Core Planning Engineer.  He holds a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Systems Engineering from the National University of Rwanda (now University of Rwanda).<\/p>\n<p>{{Laetitia Uwera, Chief Human Resources Officer}}<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-15151 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/unnamed_1_-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Commenting on her appointment, Uwera said;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very pleased to return to my country and, most importantly, excited to re-join Tigo Rwanda team. As a company we have talented and positive people driving our business, and I am proud to join a leadership team who trust and values them. I am passionate about human resources because I believe people are the center of the business success, I am looking forward to leading this transformation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Rwanda, Uwera was Tigo Rwanda\u2019s sixth hire when it first entered the Rwandan market in 2009. A holder of an Honour&#8217;s Degree in Hospitality and Human Resources Management from Edinburgh Napier University, she is also a certified Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUwera and Ndatira know Tigo Rwanda inside out. They are well placed to take Tigo Rwanda to the next level. We are especially proud that both of them are young Rwandans who have risen through our own ranks.
