It is the first time such a summit is held in Africa since previous sessions would be held in London.<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 Global African Investment Summit was organized by the government of Rwanda in collaboration with Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa  (COMESA).<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda Development Board yesterday evening welcomed guests from different corners on behalf of the government.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO of RDB, Francis Gatare commended organizations involved in preparations of the meeting and guests saying the summit will be the best opportunity to demonstrate chances and cooperation in investment with the aim of realizing the progress of Africa in general.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCooperation and Projects with opportunities in cooperation and investment will be demonstrated to more than 1000 participantsin the summit. We hope to become successful throughout our journey in investment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In a message delivered to participants of 2016 Global African Investment Summit,  President Paul Kagame expressed delightfulness to cooperate with COMESA in the preparation of the summit and requested participants to join efforts in the journey towards African development. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe integration of nations is crucial for Africa\u2019s development and we undoubtedly hope that the meeting will move fast investment in our major projects as the region.
