{Five students from Gataraga sector of Musanze district including three girls and two boys have been stopped at Akanyaru, bordering Rwanda and Burundi as they were going to Burundi to convey a message of prophecy they claim to have received from God.}<\/p>\n

The five students, members of Charismatic Congregation of Catholic Church, have been identified as Umutoni Marie Claire, Mutuyimana Claudine, Munyemana Olivier, and Umuhoza Olive studying at Groupe Scolaire Gataraga along with Nibishaka Th\u00e9ophile who doesn\u2019t attend any school.<\/p>\n

They have explained that God had sent them to preach to Burundians to be transformed, go away from sins since the current situation in Burundi hurts God.<\/p>\n

They explained that their journey to Burundi started on August 18th, 2016, passed at Kibeho holy land in Nyaruguru district for prayers before resuming their way to preach in Burundi churches and religious congregations.<\/p>\n

The students crossed eight districts including Musanze, Nyabihu, Ngororero, Muhanga, Ruhango, Nyanza, Huye and arrived at Akanyaru border in Gisagara district on 21st August, 2016 to enter Burundi. <\/p>\n

Talking on the motive to travel to Burundi, Umuhoza Oliva said \u201cGod gave us a message to convey to churches in Burundi where we are supposed to preach about returning to God for what is taking place in Burundi nowadays since it saddens God,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

Nyirazaninka Marie Louise, the mother of Munyemana Olivier said her daughter bid them farewell as they were leaving for Burundi.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daughter informed me before leaving. I asked her whether she had transport fare and replied that the situation is beyond me. I requested her to pray for the journey as usual then she left. I requested her to be cautious as they arrive at the border since there is insecurity in Burundi,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The deputy vice mayor in charge of social welfare, Uwamariya Marie Claire who handed the five students to their families on August 27th, 2016 requested parents to be careful and follow up their children in whatever they are doing.<\/p>\n

\u201cParents should be keen on reporting about their children whereabouts on time. If such a practice had been observed, we would have followed up these children,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
