Cyclist members of  \u2018Kora Ujya Mbere\u2019 cooperative suspect their leaders to have diverted  contributions prompting them to call for reforms.}<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t know where our contributions and fines were diverted to. We estimate Rwf 12 million to have been misappropriated,\u201d said one cyclist.<\/p>\n<p>Nuwimana Valens, the leader of cyclists\u2019 cooperatives in Rubavu district denies the accusations of misallocating the fund saying cooperative members are just bent on tarnishing his image.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy vice mayor for economic affairs in Rubavu district, Murenzi Janvier, says  they were not aware of the matter but warned that they can\u2019t tolerate whoever misallocates people\u2019s funds. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis matter is serious even though we were not aware of it.  We were, too, wondering why bicycle riders were not making progress.  We are going to approach them, help them and advise them. It is our responsibility.  These cyclists have families to feed. If they are robbed, it affects their families and the economy.
