{"id":27924,"date":"2016-08-21T13:37:28","date_gmt":"2016-08-21T13:37:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/rwanda-officially-opens-embassy-in-congo\/"},"modified":"2016-08-23T09:30:20","modified_gmt":"2016-08-23T09:30:20","slug":"rwanda-officially-opens-embassy-in-congo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/rwanda-officially-opens-embassy-in-congo\/","title":{"rendered":"Rwanda officially opens embassy in Congo-Brazzaville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Louise Mushikiwabo yesterday attended a ceremony of launching Rwanda\u2019s embassy in Congo-Brazzaville and said this has been realized because of the cooperation demonstrated by both heads of state.}<\/p>\n<p>In 2011 , Rwanda and Congo Brazzaville signed cooperation agreements in air  transport ,trade, tourism ,habitation, refugee management, energy, security, justice, environment protection, fishing, technology and communication among others.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Mushikiwabo has said that bilateral diplomatic relations between Rwanda and Congo Brazzaville have been improving over time adding that opening the embassy in Congo Brazzaville is a milestone highlighting the development vision of Africa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c Opening this embassy demonstrates our efforts in development rooted on Africans, our leaders\u2019 commitment on improving livelihoods and spur economic development. The continent is having one goal and direction,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Mushikiwabo encouraged private investors to maximize benefits of good relations and cooperation between the two countries. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c I encourage all private investors to maximize benefits of available opportunities and invest for mutual benefits of our citizens,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Rwanda\u2019s embassy in Congo Brazzaville is also representing Rwanda in six countries member states of Economic Community of Central African States. These include Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Chad, Central African Republic and CEEAC.<\/p>\n<p>Both countries agreed to open the embassy four years ago. Rwanda embassy in Congo Brazzaville was opened in 2015 and delegated Dr. Habyarimana Jean Baptiste as ambassador. Dr Habyarimana presented credentials to president Denis Sassou N\u2019Guesso in February, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Habyarima Jean Baptiste has been operating but the embassy was officially launched yesterday.
