{"id":27871,"date":"2016-08-19T11:03:37","date_gmt":"2016-08-19T11:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/relocating-930-prisoners-due-in-two-months\/"},"modified":"2016-08-20T04:53:31","modified_gmt":"2016-08-20T04:53:31","slug":"relocating-930-prisoners-due-in-two-months","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/relocating-930-prisoners-due-in-two-months\/","title":{"rendered":"Relocating  1930 prisoners due in two months"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Prisoners from Nyarugenge prison known as 1930 will be relocated to Mageragere, a newly constructed facility. } <\/p>\n<p>Construction  of Mageragere prison is  underway with  six hundred inmates from across the country building the facility. <\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Internal Security, Mussa Fazil Harerimana has said that inmates from Nyarugenge prison will be relocated within two months. <\/p>\n<p>He said this yesterday after inspecting the activities at the new Mageragere prison along with Rwanda Correction Service officials. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe prison will accommodate 3000 inmates from Nyarugenge prison. All that  remains is  roofing. Inmates may be relocated within two months,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The first phase will accommodate Nyarugenge inmates while from the secomd will take in Gasabo prison inmates.
