{"id":27840,"date":"2016-08-18T08:45:52","date_gmt":"2016-08-18T08:45:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/aerg-donates-goats-to-20-families\/"},"modified":"2016-08-22T07:00:54","modified_gmt":"2016-08-22T07:00:54","slug":"aerg-donates-goats-to-20-families","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/aerg-donates-goats-to-20-families\/","title":{"rendered":"AERG donates goats to 20 families"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Students at University of Rwanda, Huye Campus under Genocide Survivors Students Association (AERG) have donated 20 goats to 20 families of survivors of 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Kinazi sector of Huye district.}<\/p>\n<p>According to donors, the act was meant to show genocide survivors that they are not alone.<\/p>\n<p>The coordinator of AERG at the University of Rwanda, Huye Campus, Ernestus Iragena said that they are committed to such kind acts in daily activities as a way of improving livelihoods of genocide widows. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have come to donate to genocide widows, demonstrating affection as children they grew up. Indeed it is a way of showing hope for the future.
