{"id":26899,"date":"2016-07-14T06:49:06","date_gmt":"2016-07-14T06:49:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/president-kagame-meets-wharton-school-delegation\/"},"modified":"2016-07-15T07:22:18","modified_gmt":"2016-07-15T07:22:18","slug":"president-kagame-meets-wharton-school-delegation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/president-kagame-meets-wharton-school-delegation\/","title":{"rendered":"President Kagame meets Wharton School delegation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{President Paul Kagame yesterday met a delegation from Wharton School of Business, based in the United States including graduate students and members of the faculty in Village Urugwiro.The team is on a business tour, in the country to explore areas in which they can partner with Rwanda in business.}<\/p>\n<p>The Wharton School is the business school of the University of Pennsylvania.<br \/>\nIt is the maiden such visit since earlier visits would see only students from the Wharton School coming to Rwanda. <\/p>\n<p>The CEO of Rwanda Development Board, Francis Gatare said that many employees of Wharton school and graduated students demonstrated interest of learning much more about Rwanda as President Paul Kagame held a talk at the school in a visit to US last year in September. <\/p>\n<p>He explained that at the time, president Kagame invited them to come to Rwanda and experience ongoing country\u2019s transformations and working with authorities to establish cooperation with the school or its graduates having attained tremendous success in business or job creation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c They are visiting the country for more than one week to interact with people and know much more about the country. They hope such talks can be fruitful in investment and business, cooperation between Rwanda\u2019s schools and Wharton School of Business even though the most important is partnership with Rwandans,\u201d said Gatare.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy head of Wharton School, Prof Catherine J.
