The school is located at 185 Km East of Elfasher,the capital of Darfur.}<\/p>\n<p>The project valued at 23,000 USD was conceived to support and promote girls education. It was initiated and implemented by Rwanbatt 47 and funded by UNAMID.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-13088 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/big3.jpg\" alt=\"Noor Salaam Girls pupils\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The UNAMID Force Commander, Lt Gen FM Kamanzi who presided over the handover ceremony commended the courage and efforts of Rwandan peacekeepers and thanked local community for cooperation. \u201cThe inauguration of this project is a sign of cooperation between the Rwandan Battalion here, UNAMID and Community of Umkadada.
