{"id":26023,"date":"2016-06-13T00:43:47","date_gmt":"2016-06-13T00:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/six-new-anti-crime-clubs-created-in-nyamagabe\/"},"modified":"2016-06-13T00:43:40","modified_gmt":"2016-06-13T00:43:40","slug":"six-new-anti-crime-clubs-created-in-nyamagabe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/six-new-anti-crime-clubs-created-in-nyamagabe\/","title":{"rendered":"Six new anti-crime clubs created in Nyamagabe, Nyanza"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{In line with Rwanda National Police (RNP) crime prevention mechanism, commercial motorcyclists and cyclists operating in Nyamagabe District and students of College Christ Roi in Nyanza have created six anti-crime clubs that will serve as forums to contribute to crime prevention and reduction.}<\/p>\n<p>The clubs were created following anti-crime campaign by  police officer directed to  commercial motorcyclists and cyclists, and students held separately on June 7.<\/p>\n<p>Jerome Nsabimana, a motorcyclist from Nyamagabe District said; \u201cWe decided to form anti-crime clubs because we believe we can contribute to making our community safer through strong partnership with the police.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The District Police Commander of Nyamagabe, Supt. Fran\u00e7ois Segakware said; \u201cforming anti-crime clubs is a good initiative that proves your commitment to ensure  a safer environment for your   communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is one thing to create these clubs but it is another thing to be active. Use these forums to fight against anyone who may be involved in criminal activities; create a way of sharing information amongst yourselves and whenever you suspect something or someone of being involved in criminal activities, inform the police immediately,\u201d Supt.
