{"id":25502,"date":"2016-05-23T00:43:50","date_gmt":"2016-05-23T00:43:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/2-glasses-of-beer-a-day-could-keep-the-doctor\/"},"modified":"2016-05-23T00:43:38","modified_gmt":"2016-05-23T00:43:38","slug":"2-glasses-of-beer-a-day-could-keep-the-doctor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/2-glasses-of-beer-a-day-could-keep-the-doctor\/","title":{"rendered":"2 glasses of beer a day could keep the doctor away,study finds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{According to scientists of the Mediterranean Neurological Institute in Italy, drinking moderate amounts of beer daily could reduce the risk of heart disease by up to 25%.}<\/p>\n<p>The researchers reviewed more than 150 studies and concluded that drinking up to two 600ml glasses of beer a day for men, and half that for women, could have a beneficial effect on heart health.<\/p>\n<p>They also found that drinking those amounts daily made no difference to people\u2019s chances of getting dementia, cancer or other diseases.<\/p>\n<p>However, Britain\u2019s chief medical officer, Dame Sally Davies, disagrees with the research. She recently issued new guidelines that recommended limiting alcohol consumption to 14 units a week.
