{"id":25094,"date":"2016-05-04T10:08:46","date_gmt":"2016-05-04T10:08:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/minister-busingye-explains-how-rwandans-in\/"},"modified":"2016-05-07T01:00:23","modified_gmt":"2016-05-07T01:00:23","slug":"minister-busingye-explains-how-rwandans-in","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/minister-busingye-explains-how-rwandans-in\/","title":{"rendered":"Minister Busingye explains how Rwandans in countries in crisis are supported"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Minister of Justice, Johnston Busingye has said that any Rwandan living abroad is assisted with emergence in case of a crisis and as long they report to the embassy in the respective countries. } <\/p>\n<p>Busingye revealed this yesterday in a meeting that was addressing issues of Migrants in Countries in Crisis (MICIC) that brought together representatives from the south and east corners of Africa. <\/p>\n<p>Minister Busingye cited a recent case of Rwandans that fell victims to Zambia violence where the Rwandan embassy instantly intervened, visited and brought them together for immediate evacuation. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny Rwandan from any part of the world that finds him\/herself in a crisis is supported. It is Rwanda\u2019s policy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The special envoy of UN- Habitat and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Bayan V. Mangibin also noted that migrants are not treated well most of the time yet they contribute to the development of host countries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMigrants face several challenges. They play a role in the progress of host countries.
