{"id":24986,"date":"2016-04-30T03:36:41","date_gmt":"2016-04-30T03:36:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/dutch-envoy-commends-isange-one-stop-center\/"},"modified":"2016-05-02T06:03:01","modified_gmt":"2016-05-02T06:03:01","slug":"dutch-envoy-commends-isange-one-stop-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/dutch-envoy-commends-isange-one-stop-center\/","title":{"rendered":"Dutch envoy commends Isange One Stop Center services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Netherlands Ambassador to Rwanda Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique de Man yesterday praised Rwanda National Police (RNP) for its efficiency and professionalism in responding to gender-based violence (GBV).}<\/p>\n<p>She made the remarks during her visit at Isange One Stop Center yesterday where she was accompanied by the Minister of Gender and Family Promotion Dr Diane Gashumba, the Dutch ambassador to Sudan, Susan Bkenthaut, and the acting One UN Resident Coordinator, UN Women Deputy Country Representative Fatou A. Lo.<\/p>\n<p>They were received by Superintendent of Police (SP) Shafiga Murebwayire, who presented them  the work and progress of the initiatives to overcome GBV, including  Isange One Stop Centre, which offers free medical-legal services to victims of GBV and child abuse as well as the daily activities of the anti-GBV directorate<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a lot that we can learn from this center, the Government of Netherlands is happy to be associated with Isange One Stop Centre \u2013 because all over the world, this initiative by Rwanda has been presented as a successful model in addressing and overcoming GBV challenges and advancing the rights of women and children.
