\nUwanyiligira<\/span> is on her
\naccreditation visit in Latvia from 19 to 25 May 2011.<\/strong>
\nthe Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Latvia Andris<\/span> Teikmanis<\/span>. During the
\nmeeting Ambassador Uwanyiligira<\/span> talked about the African Platform international
\ndiscussion forum which took place on 20 May in the Latvian capital Riga and
\nwhere she had introduced the audience to Rwanda\u2019s development perspective. The
\nAmbassador was positive about holding such a forum in Latvia, which allows
\ntaking a closer look at the diversity offered by the African
\ncontinent.
\nincluded a meeting with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and
\nIndustry of Latvia when economic co-operation prospects were discussed.

\nSpeaker of the Saeima<\/span> Andrejs<\/span> Klementjevs<\/span> for a discussion on the relations
\nbetween both countries.
\nin 2007. H.E<\/span>. Immaculee<\/span> Uwanyiligira<\/span> is the first Ambassador of the
\nRepublic of Rwanda in Latvia. She has obtained a M.A<\/span> degree from Columbia
\nUniversity in New York and a master\u2019s degree in information technology and
\ntelecommunications from The Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. The
\nAmbassador has held different posts in UN representations in Addis Ababa
\n(Ethiopia) and Khartoum (Sudan), and in the UN headquarters in New York City.
