{"id":24576,"date":"2016-04-13T05:01:33","date_gmt":"2016-04-13T05:01:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/governor-bosenibamwe-asked-the-youth-to-resist\/"},"modified":"2016-04-15T03:07:19","modified_gmt":"2016-04-15T03:07:19","slug":"governor-bosenibamwe-asked-the-youth-to-resist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/governor-bosenibamwe-asked-the-youth-to-resist\/","title":{"rendered":"Governor Bosenibamwe asked the youth to resist genocide denials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Northern Province governor Aim\u00e9e Bosenibamwe has requested the youth to keep the momentum of resisting genocide ideology which is dangerous to the efforts of unity, reconciliation and healing. } <\/p>\n<p>The governor gave the advice yesterday in a night vigil to remember held at Tumba College of Technology, Rulindo district, where he said a CNLG survey recently indicated that 15% of Rwandans still have genocide ideology and collaborate with foreigners who trivialize genocide perpetrated against Tutsi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbout 15% of Rwandans have not yet understood Ndi Umunyarwanda program and partner with foreigners undermining genocide. Such genocide ideology cases include people nicknaming others with derogatory names,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have information that city dwellers use the term MTN to mean Tutsi and use Tigo to mean Hutu. There are other names that may emerge tomorrow or after tomorrow. We have to know that our name is Ndi Umunyarwanda,\u201d advised Bosenibamwe.<br \/>\nBosenibamwe encouraged the youth to use social media to tell the truth and do research aimed at neutralizing deniers of genocide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt requires to stay awake. We must stand together to tell the truth about the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, using all available platforms including social media.
