{"id":23968,"date":"2016-03-17T04:45:41","date_gmt":"2016-03-17T04:45:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/government-institutions-asked-to-promote-local\/"},"modified":"2016-03-21T00:16:08","modified_gmt":"2016-03-21T00:16:08","slug":"government-institutions-asked-to-promote-local","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/government-institutions-asked-to-promote-local\/","title":{"rendered":"Government institutions asked to promote local products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Government institutions and agencies have been called upon to promote local products which they should be using in offices including furniture, instead of placing orders from outside the country, as a way of supporting the Made in Rwanda. } <\/p>\n<p>The 9th resolution during the recent 13th national leadership retreat stressed the need of changing Rwandans\u2019 perceptions to embrace local products.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), Francois Kanimba requested government institutions to show exemplary practices by using Made in Rwanda products. He made the request yesterday during a press briefing. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe decision has been taken at government level.
