He was drunk. He asked me when food would be cooked and kept beating me until neighbors intervened,\u201d said Mukarugina.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHusbands\u2019 wrongdoing is a result of taking illicit brews. For instance, many women in our village are used to be beaten whenever men return home drunk,\u201d added another woman called Musabe.<\/p>\n<p>The drug abuse also breeds insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>The executive secretary of Gikonko sector, Ignace Kayumba said that they mobilize citizens to keep away from drug abuse even though the matter has not yet been solved. \u201cIllicit brews and gins are not yet eradicated as we want. Else the matter of domestic violence exists among households.
