{"id":23916,"date":"2016-03-15T05:06:51","date_gmt":"2016-03-15T05:06:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/gishwati-mukura-national-park-to-draw-more\/"},"modified":"2016-03-16T09:07:58","modified_gmt":"2016-03-16T09:07:58","slug":"gishwati-mukura-national-park-to-draw-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/gishwati-mukura-national-park-to-draw-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Gishwati-Mukura National Park to draw more tourists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The government of Rwanda\u2019s commitment to building a vibrant services sector  to maximize earnings has seen an increment in the number of sites reserved for tourism activities,   among other strategies  adopted to achieve the goal. } <\/p>\n<p>In 2015, tourism sector earned USD315,000,000  and  Rwanda Development Board (RDB) targets  to increase 25% of tourism revenues every year.<\/p>\n<p>RDB says there will be an increase in arrivals  in Western Province as the 4th National Park of Gishwati, Mukura opens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the opening of Gishwati National Park, we expect the park to attract more tourists and longer duration of stay,\u201d  said Gakire Callixte, Tourism and Conservation officer in RDB.<\/p>\n<p>The natural forests of Gishwati-Mukura is located in the Congo-Nile divide with over  60  tree species.
