{"id":23893,"date":"2016-03-14T06:17:20","date_gmt":"2016-03-14T06:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/kayonza-local-leaders-deprive-residents-of\/"},"modified":"2016-03-14T06:17:06","modified_gmt":"2016-03-14T06:17:06","slug":"kayonza-local-leaders-deprive-residents-of","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/kayonza-local-leaders-deprive-residents-of\/","title":{"rendered":"Kayonza local leaders deprive residents of community farm-house, divert rental"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Residents of Nyamirama sector in Kayonza district have lamented the local authority\u2019s failure to remit rentals collected from their community farm-house where  they used to carry out poultry farming. } <\/p>\n<p>The house in question was constructed by Credit Project  to support residents for  goats and chicken rearing but was taken over by   local leaders who hired it out to a church  after the former  project collapsed. <\/p>\n<p>The church members, residents say, pay rent to local leaders  of Musumba cell.<br \/>\n\u201cThe executive secretary of our cell rented out our house to people who made it a church. We want local authorities to hand us back our house and practice poultry again.
