{Strikers, Isaie Songa and Idesbald Nshuti were on target as Police FC beat Musanze 2-1 in Azam Rwanda Premier League match played on Friday at Kicukiro stadium.}<\/p>\n
The law enforcers remain fifth on the table with 24 points in 12 matches played so far, but with three games in hand compared to the log leaders, Mukura which has 32 points.<\/p>\n
Songa wasted no chance in the 23rd minute to put the hosts in lead after converting JMV Muvandimwe\u2019s assist following a well curved free kick by skipper Innocent Habyarimana.<\/p>\n
Nshuti doubled the lead in the 32nd minute off Rashid Karisa\u2019s assist but the visitors pulled one back four minutes later to make it 2-1 before the break.<\/p>\n
The two strikers missed several chances that would have seen Police squaring its scores.<\/p>\n
First, Nshuti missed an early opportunity in the third minute while his co-striker Songa hit a bar in the dying minutes of the match. All the six corner kicks were also wasted.<\/p>\n
Police coach, Andre Cassa Mbungo praised the performance of the team.<\/p>\n
\u201cDespite their fatigue after several matches and back from South Sudan in CAF confederation cup, they were heads up with confidence to win,\u201d said Mbungo.<\/p>\n
