{President Paul Kagame has said that Africa will never be a continent of middle income economy unless it sets sustainable solutions to the generation and distribution of energy.}<\/p>\n
He revealed this in Houston, Texas of USA which centered around African future and global energy related issues.<\/p>\n
President Kagame is in United States of America where he attended the International Energy Summit organized by IHS Inc Company. IHS Inc is a company that provides information and analysis to support governments in the decision-making process of businesses, security levels, technology and energy.<\/p>\n
Throughout his speech, President Kagame has demonstrated that energy is not only a commodity but also a foundation of world\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n
He said that Africa will need more energy resources in next two years.
\n\u201cAfrica will step forward in resisting challenges of inadequate energy in developing countries. Africa will never become a middle income economy unless it gets enough energy resources,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The president said Africa has a lot to offer as a partner in innovation and creativity while it is a better place to launch and expand needed technology in effectively distributing the energy.<\/p>\n
He said that Africa is gradually progressing unlike people considering it a continent of calamities.<\/p>\n
President Kagame said that opportunities found in Africa can generate big profits for investors in maintaining the development of citizens. He noted that African continent is wealthy not a burden with challenges to be addressed by the rest of the world. <\/p>\n
Talking on the East African Community, Kagame said that countries are working together, showing willingness to achieve more. He also unveiled the presence of investment opportunities in the region.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are integrating politically, taking into consideration the master plan of our infrastructures,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
President Kagame is expected to give a lecture on political issues in Harvard Institute of Politics, in Boston city.<\/p>\n
