{"id":23170,"date":"2016-02-12T07:03:36","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T07:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/made-in-rwanda-expo-due\/"},"modified":"2016-02-12T12:39:25","modified_gmt":"2016-02-12T12:39:25","slug":"made-in-rwanda-expo-due","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/made-in-rwanda-expo-due\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Made in Rwanda\u2019 expo due"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{The Ministry of Trade and Industry in collaboration with Private Sector Federation have organized an expo aimed at promoting made in Rwanda products which will open in a week\u2019s time under the theme: \u201cBuy Made in Rwanda, Buy Quality.\u201d}<\/p>\n<p>The weeklong exhibition will run from 25th February 2nd March 2016 at the Gikondo Expo ground.  \u201cThe expo will shape the mindset of Rwandans towards consuming local products,\u201d said Fran\u00e7ois Kanimba, Minister of Trade and Industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe request industries to increase quality and capacity to the highest level. We hope the capacity will increase if the guidelines are respected, and we will be able to compete favorably at international level\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Donatien Mungwarareba, the official in charge of capacity building at PSF noted that there\u2019s need to support products made in Rwanda in order to change the misconception that foreign products are better than local ones.
