{Former prime minister Amama Mbabazi has said he does not have any personal grudge against President Museveni but rather his leadership.}<\/p>\n
Addressing his supporters at the Ssaza ground in Kiboga Town on Wednesday, Mr Mbabazi explained that Mr Museveni has not done enough for the 30 years he has been in power and he should have retired rather seek sole candidature.<\/p>\n
\u201cInfrastructure is poor, education and health services are crippling time and again. Why should he not retire?\u201d he said.
\nMr Mbabazi added that the day he criticised the President on sole candidature, he lost his job as prime Minister.<\/p>\n
\u201cChange of government is the only way of suspending problems affecting every government sector in Uganda,\u201d he said.
\nMr Mbabazi also explained that while in government, he could not improve service delivery because all Executive powers are vested in the hands of the President and he could only take orders.<\/p>\n
\u201cConstitutionally, the President wields executive powers. So I had limited powers to change the poor system of governance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
