hailstorm destroys over Rwf 300m worth of property"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{Bright Company, a Rusizi-based rice processing factory, in Bugarama sector, has been destroyed by a hailstorm, the chairman of the sector advisory committee has confirmed. }<br \/>\nHe said the hailstorm that started at 15:30 hours blew off the roof top of the factory and some walls were left into debris, destroying rice processing machinery beyond repair, in total making a loss of over Rwf 300 million.<\/p>\n<p>The accountant of the factory told the press that ravaged buildings contained two tons of processed rice and 27 tons of unprocessed rice which all got destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>The factory proprietors have asked police and military to maintain security at the premises to stave off looters that
