{"id":22723,"date":"2016-01-23T03:50:56","date_gmt":"2016-01-23T03:50:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/7000-students-join-youth-crime-preventer-s\/"},"modified":"2016-01-26T01:03:08","modified_gmt":"2016-01-26T01:03:08","slug":"7000-students-join-youth-crime-preventer-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/7000-students-join-youth-crime-preventer-s\/","title":{"rendered":"7000 students join youth crime preventer\u2019s organization"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{About 7000 students have joined Rwanda Youth Volunteers in Community Policing, an umbrella of university and secondary school students that campaigns for positive change and sustainable security.}<\/p>\n<p>Jean Bosco Mutangana, the President of the organization, said that all the new members are senior six leavers from 15 districts, who are currently attending Itorero \u2013 civic education.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a big turn up of the youth joining the organization and our target is to have all students in all higher institutions of learning and secondary schools becoming members, which will make it more successful and achieving in the shortest time possible,\u201d said Mutangana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are likely to have a similar or close number of new members from other 15 districts.
