Why doesn\u2019t he pay us?\u201d That is how Nyiramana B\u00e9atrice who has been working as porter starts her lamentation, narrating to IGIHE correspondent. } <\/p>\n<p>She has been a porter and among other casual workers that participated in the construction of a crafts center locally known as \u2018Agakiriro\u2019 launched recently in Kirehe sector of Kirehe district but the owner has failed to compensate them for their services. . She is now wallowing in need and lack. And she is angry and hungry. She is not alone.  <\/p>\n<p>Another worker, Juvenal Ntirivamunda, one of the masons, has said that it is now four months without getting paid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are experiencing hardships since it is four months without getting paid. We have spent our efforts expecting to get our payments. Our families are starving,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nThe businessman who constructed the crafts center, Anatole Bizimana, however says he\u2019s surprised to hear that some workers were not paid. <\/p>\n<p>He told IGIHE that he was going to investigate the case to establish whether the people he delegated to pay workers instead misused the wages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hand payments to those responsible for paying workers at the end of every month. Probably, some of them may have missed when others were getting paid.
