{Presidential candidate Venansius Baryamureeba has challenged Ugandans to retire President Museveni and his former prime minister Amama Mbabazi.}<\/p>\n
Addressing rallies in Kaberamaido and Soroti districts yesterday, the former Makerere vice chancellor said the two leaders are equally responsible for what is happening in the country.<\/p>\n
He said the health sector that is a core fabric for any economy in terms of human resource is ailing and that he needs to take over the political leadership of the country in order to overhaul the sector. <\/p>\n
\u201cSoroti Hospital, a regional referral hospital, is sick, you can\u2019t take people to a sick hospital,\u201d Prof Baryamureeba said.<\/p>\n
He said under his government, the Health ministry will be funded well, adding that his government will also introduce health insurance for Ugandans.<\/p>\n
Prof Baryamureeba added that once this is fully done, every Ugandan will have access to free medical care in any hospital withn their reach.<\/p>\n
On the unemployment challenge, he promised to create one million jobs every year in all sectors of government, especially through revamping the cooperative societies that used to employ a sizeable number of people. He added that the cooperatives will provide market for the farmer\u2019s products and break the exploitation that farmers have been subjected to by the middlemen.<\/p>\n
