{The Minister of Justice and the attorney general, Johnson Busingye has urged court bailiffs and notaries to keep away from any temptation of embezzlement and taking bribes in the process of executing their duties.
\n}<\/p>\n

He made the call over the weekend during the swearing-in ceremony of over 100 court bailiffs. <\/p>\n

Sworn-in bailiffs include 60 non-professional court bailiffs on cell level, 16 bailiffs on sector level and 49 land notaries who took their oaths before him.
\nBusingye reminded sworn-in bailiffs of their obligations and urged them to serve with dedication and patriotism.<\/p>\n

\u201cI request you to be exemplary and contribute to the eradication of corruption. You have to exercise and execute your duties with integrity.\u201d <\/p>\n

Mukwiye Jean Pierre yatangaje, one of sworn-in bailiffs of Ruhango district has unveiled the willingness to excel in delivering good services and fighting corruption.
\n\u201cWe have sworn to always work on and with truthfulness and we promise to create a difference as well as fighting corruption,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The swearing in ceremony follows suspension of 15 court bailiffs over illegal auctions and accepting bribery among other malpractices.<\/p>\n
