{Huye residents have lauded government\u2019s efforts of settling disputes through the good governance clinics organized during the Governance Month and through decentralization, requesting extension of such community-supporting activities.}<\/p>\n

Officials of Huye district have reminded residents to adopt family consultation culture to evaluate together the common vision, an act believed to boost social welfare and peaceful development.<\/p>\n

The appeal was made as residents participated in various governance month activities that involved explanations of services Rwandan population must always access with ease.<\/p>\n

Some of Kinazi sector residents that talked to IGIHE say they have benefited a lot from the governance month since leaders leave their office to resolve citizens\u2019 problems in and from their local communities. <\/p>\n

Uwamariya, a Kinazi resident says; \u201cThroughout this month, sector officials come to our villages to hear and help resolve our conflicts, disputes and challenges. I wish such form of service delivery would be permanent.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cKagame has been the bearer of good governance, because good guidance didn\u2019t exist before his leadership. Nowadays officials visit us to hear our difficulties,\u201d said an old man, Renzaho.<\/p>\n

The deputy vice mayor in charge of social welfare in Huye district, Christine Niwemugeni argues that the example of good governance must be emulated in households through advising one another on difficulties encountered in families.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe examples of good governance realized at various leadership levels should permeate to our families and households to evaluate our sociability, set a common vision, recognize disciplined members and correct wrongdoers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of Huye district sectors have adopted a program named \u201cMenya nkumenye\u201d, to enhance good governance. Under this program, leaders form groups to mobilize households\u2019 participation in supporting government programs and engage in development activities. <\/p>\n
