{The East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) has dismissed the appeal in which Burundi sought to withdraw MPs from the assembly in a request letter Burundi speaker, Pascal Nyabyenda sent to Daniel Fred Kidega head of EALA.}<\/p>\n

The parliamentarian question include Ngenzebuhoro Frederic, Nduwimana Martino, Yves Nsabimana and J\u00e9r\u00e9mie Ngendakumana from CNDD FDD, UPRONA and FRODEBU political parties.<\/p>\n

The speaker of EALA Fred Kidega told media on Monday that he informed the leadership of EAC and Counsel to the Community (CTC) of EAC after receiving the withdrawal request letter.<\/p>\n

These consultations requested the delegation of EALA administration to sit together and come up with a decision that would be later communicated to Burundi.
\nKidega unveiled that he has met EALA representatives who finally realized that Burundi has no legal basis to recall the said officials. <\/p>\n

\u201cArticle of the EALA constitution indicates how a member may lose position whci Burundi has failed to prove. We have realized that Burundi parliament request doesn\u2019t comply with agreements of EALA establishment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kidega says that he has already replied Pascal Nyabyenda about the decision and expect to head for Bujumbura for talks over the same issue.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will meet my colleague to strengthen the relationship between EALA and Burundi parliament. We will also discuss the matter of four delegates\u2019 recall,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
