There are a million reasons you should be proud of yourself and I’d mention just eleven.

{{1. If you have goals }}

If you have goals, vision and a dream that your heart beats for then you have every reason to be proud. Not everyone can boast of having a dream or defined goals. You should know that every success and every great work is born out of a dream, a goal and a vision.

{{2. You learn from your failure }}

Everyone fails, everyone has failed at certain times of their life; but you shouldn’t let failure deter you — life doesn’t end when you fail. If you learn and become wiser from each failure then you have every reason to be proud of yourself.
{{
3. You’ve put a smile on someone’s face }}

If you have ever made someone happy or put a smile on someone’s face then you have added a certain shine to that person’s life, at least in that time frame. The world would be a much better place if we can all put a smile on a neighbour’s face, and anyone who has achieved such feat should be proud.

{{4. You inspire people }}

If you inspire people or have at least inspired someone to achieve his or her dreams in life then you have every reason to be proud; the feeling of pride that comes with this is one that money can’t buy.

{{5. You help the needy}}

There would always be people who have little to nothing, but if you have touched at least one life by helping someone out of their plight then you have every reason to be proud of yourself because the world needs more people like you.

{{6. You never give up }}

The ability not to give is one many don’t have, so if you possess such a strong character then you have to be proud of it. The ability not to give up is born out of resilience, desire, will, drive and a strong character — this is a rare habit that not everyone have.

{{7. You have moved on}}

Moving on is an important phase of life, but it isn’t easy none the less. Many people’s problem in life emanates from the fact that they cannot or have not moved on. You become stagnated when you don’t move on; so if you have moved on from certain things that hurt you then you have to

{{9. You aren’t proud and egoistic}}

Just like the previous tip, pride is also another ugly character that should be cut out of your life. Self-pride is important, as far as it doesn’t aim at ridiculing others. However, pride born out of disdainful behaviour or treatment, or feeling that you are more important or better than other people is one you should be wary of. If you aren’t proud then you should be proud of yourself.

{{10. You have overcome your fears
}}

Overcoming fear is one of the hardest things to do in life. Fear can set you backward a million times and a life of fear is not advisable for anyone. So, if you have overcome your fears then you have every reason to be happy and extremely proud of yourself.

{{11. You keep improving}}

The moment you say to yourself that you are satisfied with your current level is the moment your stagnation starts. Keep getting better and better no matter your achievements, and be proud of yourself for doing that.

I’d end with this lovely quote: “don’t wait until you reach your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of each step you take toward reaching that goal”.

ELCREMA

{A lot of the times, we are so expectant and pushed by the pressures of our expectations that we forget to give ourselves a little tap on the back and say ‘well done’.} You might think that there is nothing worth being proud of yourself for, but that’s just a lie your mind wants you […]

[6
75
170

post-20910","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-homenews","byline-igihe
["GET
