{British Airways (BA) will suspend its current four flights a week between London\u2019s Heathrow Airport and the Ugandan city of Entebbe in early October, according to a BA official, who attributed the move to financial considerations.}<\/p>\n
Responding by email to questions from Anadolu Agency, Stephen Forbes, head of BA\u2019s international media team for Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and Africa, said the last flight would depart Entebbe on October 3.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are continually reviewing our flight schedules and have decided that, at this time, the route is not commercially viable,\u201d Forbes said. <\/p>\n
Recent BA flights between London and Entebbe \u2013 which have been in service since 1991 \u2013 have reportedly been flying at only 20-percent capacity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
