The accident occurred when two vehicles got involved in a head-on collision. One car was heading to Ngororero district and another was enroute from Nyanza. The vehicles are said to be belonging to Horizon Express and Africa Tours both are transport companies. <\/p>\n
34 passengers from both vehicles sustained minor or serious injuries. 15 causalities are being hospitalized.<\/p>\n
Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent BADEGE said the accident was caused by reckless driving and overspeeding.<\/p>\n
