{Dr Vincent Biruta was re-elected President of The Social Democratic Party of Rwanda (PSD) during Saturday vote where members also discussed the amendment of the Rwandan Constitution to lift presidential term limits.}<\/p>\n
Biruta won 661 of 670 votes. <\/p>\n
During this exercise, only three of the seven leading members of the party were elected back to their posts. <\/p>\n
New entrants include the Rwandan diplomat at the UN, Olivier Nduhungirehe who was elected first vice president of the Party and V\u00e9n\u00e9rande Nyirahirwa, 2nd Vice President. <\/p>\n
The General Secretariat of the party falls to Jean Chrisostome Ngabitsinze assisted by Aur\u00e9lie Gahongayire (Gender and Women’s Development) and Th\u00e9odomir Niyonsenga (Youth). <\/p>\n
