{Police are investigating circumstances under which three people were murdered in cold blood Kimuhonde Village, Rutete Sub County, Kabarole district.}<\/p>\n
The deceased Kabarwani Faith Kacenke aged 72, the Chairperson LC1 Kimuhonde was hacked by Alex Byamukama, 32, a Rwandan national.<\/p>\n
He also left another resident Tanka Basaliza seriously injured. According to residents, the trio was on Friday night together in a bar.<\/p>\n
The locals say that on their way home, Byamukama Alex who was armed with a sharp machete hacked Kabarwani to death and seriously wounded Basaliza.<\/p>\n
The angry residents rushed to the scene and clobbered Byamukama to death and later set his body on fire.<\/p>\n
Fort Portal Police OC-CID Joshua Tusingwire strongly warned the residents against taking the law in their hands.<\/p>\n
The District Chairperson Richard Rwabuhinga, condemned the incident and the increasing murder cases in the district attributing it to excessive alcohol consumption and drug abuse.<\/p>\n
