{Kenya is keen on forming partnerships in ICT, agriculture, energy, financial services and manufacturing, President Uhuru Kenyatta has said.{}}<\/p>\n
Uhuru pointed out that though the country has the best Internet connectivity in Africa, more can be done based on other countries’ experiences.<\/p>\n
“There is potential for partnerships in energy, especially because Kenya has perhaps half of Africa’s potential geothermal power,” he said.<\/p>\n
He made the remarks in a video address to the Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles, California in the United States from Sagana State Lodge.<\/p>\n
The president missed the forum after his plane made an about turn after Eritrean allegedly threatened to shoot dow the plane.<\/p>\n
Citing the expansion of the Mombasa port and the construction of the Standard Gauge Railway and the Lamu port, he noted that Kenya has made substantial investments in infrastructure.<\/p>\n
