{"id":18935,"date":"2015-03-15T05:02:51","date_gmt":"2015-03-15T05:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/shelter-them-batarure-donated-houses-to-needy\/"},"modified":"2015-03-15T05:02:33","modified_gmt":"2015-03-15T05:02:33","slug":"shelter-them-batarure-donated-houses-to-needy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/shelter-them-batarure-donated-houses-to-needy\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cShelter Them Batarure\u201d donated Houses to Needy Family in Gisagara"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-7879 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/2-38.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>{{Gisagara}}: {The Former street child\u2019s family who lives in Gisagara District, Nyamugari cell has commended \u201cShelter Them Batarure\u201d Foundation for an important assistance given to them after finding that they need help in order to live well}<\/p>\n<p> The donations include two well constructed houses, goats and mattresses valued at Rwf 5 Million.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShelter Them Batarure\u201d built this house after knowing that one of its former street child Niyomugabo Jean Claude, also helped by Shelter Them Batarure, has a family in Gisagara District and he has left it because of the living conditions which were bad.<\/p>\n<p>Niyomugabo Jean Claude is a child of Nemeye Jean Damascene and the third among nine children of his family.<\/p>\n<p>He left home in 2005 and became a street child in Kigali City. <\/p>\n<p>Fortunately Shelter Them Batarure has taken him from that life while at the same time helping him to feel well<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, Shelter Them Batarure has heard that the former street child has a family in Gisagara and so they decided to help his family<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-7880 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/3-42.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>In this regards as a part of series of charity actions, on 13th March 2015, Shelter Them Batarure has given two houses to the family of Niyomugabo one of them being given to his grandmother and this was done to help Niyomugabo to return home where he will no longer suffer from depressing living conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Gakwaya Jean, who represented \u201cShelter them Batarure\u201d during the handover of those houses advised parents to give birth to children they can provide appropriate care so as to prevent them from becoming street children.<\/p>\n<p>He said \u201cA child receives Education from parents and Parents should not only take care of their children but also ensure their appropriate care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pastor Gakwaya reiterated that \u201cShelter Them Batarure\u201d is supporting Government\u2019s plan of closing orphanages to ensure all children are brought up in a family set-up.<\/p>\n<p>Mpayimana Eric, the Executive Secretary of Nyamugari Cell commended \u201cShelter them Batarure\u201d and requested the parents to take care of their children and avoid that they escape from home though some children also are not satisfied with their families living style.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from houses, the family was given five mattresses and five blankets, breeds as well as Water tanks.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Shelter Them Batarure&#8221; Foundation was founded by two Rwandans, Bukuru Josephine Murphy and Butoyi Joselyne Alexandre currently living in Canada, who requested a parcel to the President of the Republic during the &#8220;Rwanda Day&#8221;
