Ms Hajah Noraihan Mohamad Adnan, Uganda\u2019s Honorary Consul to Malaysia, died last Saturday and was buried in Malaysia yesterday.<\/p>\n
Foreign Affairs state minister in charge of International Relations Henry Okello Oryem described the deceased as, \u201ca wonderful woman who dedicated her time and effort to attract investment from Malaysia to Uganda\u201d.<\/p>\n
Her tenure is credited for opening doors to Ugandans to study in top notch Malaysian universities, with an influx of students seeking scholarships in the country rising from 2004 after her appointment in 2003.<\/p>\n
