{Rwanda\u2019s Minister of Health Dr. Agnes Binagwaho has sacked 9 nurses and one doctor at Kabgayi Hospital due to lack of commitment in their work.}<\/p>\n
The Minister also closed a private hospital that had been operating without qualified staff.<\/p>\n
Binagwaho was visiting Muhanga District on 27th November 2014.<\/p>\n
The sacked nurses wrongly prescribed medicine to children living with HIV\/AIDS which put them into critical conditions.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile Binagwaho said “Some progress has been made but there is still a lot be done”<\/p>\n
Binagwaho has called on Kabgayi hospital staff to strive for excellence and bear in mind that there is \u201cZero tolerance for poor performance.”<\/p>\n
“We will not accommodate poor performance, you need to improve,\u201d Minister Binagwaho reminds staff at Kagbyayi hospital<\/p>\n
