{French court has ordered France 3 TV to pay \u20ac5,000 as damages to Father Wenceslas Munyeshyaka for accusing him of role in genocide against Tutsis in Rwanda}<\/p>\n
On April 13, 2014 France 3 TV aired a documentary where it asserted role played by the clergyman in the Rwandan genocide.<\/p>\n
According to media ethics the TV should have obeyed the presumption of Innocence throughout the documentary Film.<\/p>\n

France Media reports that the decision to punish France 3 TV was taken yesterday by the High Court of Paris<\/p>\n
Meanwhile Father Wenceslas Munyeshyaka has already been the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR).<\/p>\n
He also was sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment in 2006 by a Rwandan court.<\/p>\n
