{Zambia’s Patriotic Front (PF) has suspended President Guy Scott for “not respecting the constitution”, a spokesman has told the BBC.}<\/p>\n
“He has been hiring and firing people for no apparent reason and without consulting the central committee,” said Malozo Sichone.<\/p>\n
Mr Scott, still a member of the party, will remain Zambia’s president until elections set for 20 January.<\/p>\n
He took over after President Michael Sata died last month.<\/p>\n
