Struggling Serie A giants Inter Milan announced the sacking of coach Walter Mazzarri on Friday.<\/p>\n
A short statement by the club on Twitter said: “F.C. Internazionale announces that Walter Mazzarri has been relieved of his duties as coach of the first team squad.”<\/p>\n
The announcement follows reports that former coach Roberto Mancini, who won three league titles in a four-year spell with the club, was on the verge of signing a two-and-a-half year deal.<\/p>\n
