{"id":17219,"date":"2014-11-05T22:56:42","date_gmt":"2014-11-05T22:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/youth-leaders-in-rwanda-vow-to-find-solutions-to\/"},"modified":"2018-11-15T11:05:23","modified_gmt":"2018-11-15T11:05:23","slug":"youth-leaders-in-rwanda-vow-to-find-solutions-to","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/youth-leaders-in-rwanda-vow-to-find-solutions-to\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth leaders in Rwanda Vow to find solutions to challenges"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-7244 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/youth_ready_to_find_own_solutions_to_challenges.jpg\" alt=\"Youth ready to find own solutions to challenges\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>{The Minister of Youth and ICT, Jean Philbert Nsengimana while closing the first phase of Itorero program for youth leaders \u2018Inkomezamihigo\u2019, which took place at the National Ubutore Development Center in Burera District, urged them to find solutions to various challenges like poverty, ignorance and divisionism in their communities.}<\/p>\n<p>Itorero for youth leaders has been organized by the Ministry of Youth and ICT in collaboration with National Itorero Commission and other institutions, this is the first phase of Itorero for youth leaders composed of 376 young people from City of Kigali, Western and Northern Provinces.<\/p>\n<p>While addressing youth leaders, Minister Nsengimana stressed that \u201cThe foundation has been laid to help us win the struggle against ignorance, poverty, divisionism&#8230;by always challenging yourselves to be better people; you will be more useful to yourselves, your families and your country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Norbert Shyerezo on behalf of youth leaders said that \u201cAs youth leaders we will be organizing holiday activities to students including campaign against drug abuse, saving culture also back in our districts we will organizing a quarterly Umuganda where young people will be participating in various activities to help the communities they live in.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The National Itorero Chairman, Boniface Rucagu reminded youth leaders that they may contribute to the betterment of their nation by instilling moral values among their fellow compatriots.  He noted that \u201cI hope you go back with a transformed and equipped mind to contribute to the country\u2019s mission of shaping a brighter future where Rwandans will live together in harmony and prosperity<\/p>\n<p>The participants are made up of youth representatives at national level, district level and Umurenge and staff in charge of youth sport and culture at district level, the coordinators of the National Youth Council committee.
