{The Regulatory Board of Rwanda Utility and Regulatory Authority, (RURA) has named Five Experts who will analyze allegations against BBC accused of disseminating divisionism among Rwandans, IGIHE reports.}<\/p>\n
The Group of Five people will deeply assess the BBC’s record in respect of these complaints, and make recommendations on the way forward.
\nA statement from RURA says \u201c\u2026RURA today announced the formation of a Committee of Inquiry to establish BBC’s compliance with the agreements it has signed with Rwandan institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n
RURA suspended Kinyarwanda–\u2010language BBC broadcasts on 24 October 2014 after receiving numerous public complaints accusing the BBC of promoting divisionism and genocide ideology, a prima facie violation of those agreements.<\/p>\n
