{The Prime Minister of Tanzania Mizengo Pinda has revealed that Tanzania is planning to develop a rail way from Dar es Salaam to Rwanda, DRC and other countries in the region.}<\/p>\n
Mizengo was, Monday, 20th Oct, speaking to the Global conference for African investments held in London.<\/p>\n
Mizengo addressed the Conference alongside Presidents Paul Kagame of Rwanda, Mahama of Ghana and Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.<\/p>\n
The Conference brought together Governments and international finance community to discuss investment, business and development.<\/p>\n
Tanzania PM who spoke about the investment in his country said \u201c”We are looking at building a new railway line from Dar es Salaam to Rwanda, DRC, Congo etc…”<\/p>\n
Mizengo added that \u201cRailway investment is a key for us, but we also need investors keen to develop our main ports.”<\/p>\n
Until today Rwanda and Tanzania are using the air and land for transport, but there is no railway joining these two neighboring countries.<\/p>\n
