These Top 10 were selected through a nationwide search that included outreach to over 50,000 entrepreneurs in every province across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Julienne Oyler, CEO of Inkomoko, says \u201cWe\u2019ve received applications from so many young entrepreneurs demonstrating the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of Rwanda. The Top 10 Semi-Finalists not only are successful entrepreneurs, but also are industry leaders powering Rwanda\u2019s economic transformation.  It will be difficult to choose just one winner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Top 10 Semi-Finalists are:<\/p>\n<p>{{Greg Bakunzi, Amahoro Tours }} <\/p>\n<p>Amahoro Tours is a responsible tourism and eco-tourism company that partners with a network of community-based organizations to engage visitors with Rwanda\u2019s people.<br \/>\n{{<br \/>\nClement Uwajeneza, AxIS}}<\/p>\n<p>AxIS develops and implements web and mobile applications and solutions in Rwanda for clients including small businesses, medium enterprises, and government.  <\/p>\n<p>{{Dieudonne Haguminshuti, C n\u2019 D Ltd}}<\/p>\n<p>C n\u2019 D Ltd is developing a fully automated and integrated poultry production farm to produce eggs, day-old chicks, and poultry meat to meet growing domestic demand.<\/p>\n<p>{{Paulin Buregeya, COPED Ltd}}<\/p>\n<p>COPED is a waste management company that performs waste collection for residential and commercial customers, and converts waste into useful products through recycling.<\/p>\n<p>{{Francois d&#8217;assise Nezerwa, DASSY Enterprise}}<\/p>\n<p>DASSY Enterprise supplies and installs affordable solar energy products, including low-cost solar lights, solar lighting kits, solar water heaters, and home and institutional solar systems.<\/p>\n<p>{{Nadia Uwamahoro, Data Systems Ltd}}<\/p>\n<p>Data Systems Ltd is a professional ICT outsourcing company that provides IT services and equipment and promotes ICT equipment ownership and usage through the GiraICT project.  <\/p>\n<p>{{Lydie Hakizimana, Drakkar Ltd }}<\/p>\n<p>Drakkar Ltd publishes and distributes books to schools, higher educational institutions, teachers, and students and offers laboratory equipment for schools and teacher training.<\/p>\n<p>{{Jean Bosco Rugamba, High Performance Services and Business Ltd (HPS&#038;B)}}<\/p>\n<p>HPS&#038;B is a buyer and processor of Rwandan short and long grain paddy rice to sell as a finished product on the Rwandan domestic market.<\/p>\n<p>{{Meilleur Muridnabigwi, IGIHE Ltd}}<\/p>\n<p>IGIHE Ltd owns and sells the online brand www.IGIHE.com, a website that provides news and information in four languages, with a focus on content in Rwanda\u2019s native Kinyarwanda.<\/p>\n<p>{{Gilbert Gatali, KZ Noir}}<\/p>\n<p>KZ Noir is a fully-integrated specialty coffee company that owns and operates eight coffee washing stations, exports green coffee, and has two roasted coffee brands.<\/p>\n<p>The Outstanding Rwandan Entrepreneur award was launched in partnership with the continental African Leadership Network in order to recognize Rwandan business leaders who demonstrate innovation, profitability, and business excellence while serving as role models to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. <\/p>\n<p>In the coming weeks, these Top 10 Semi-Finalists will be narrowed down to 3 finalists, and then an independent selection committee will identify one ultimate winner. <\/p>\n<p>The winner will be announced and awarded a $20,000 USD prize at the 5th annual African Leadership Network (ALN) gala in Kigali on 6 November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{Inkomoko Business Development and its partner, African Entrepreneur Collective, have announced the Top 10 Semi-Finalists in its nationwide search to identify Rwanda\u2019s most outstanding young entrepreneur.} The Top 10 entrepreneurs represent companies from a diverse group of high-growth industries, such as ICT, energy, agriculture, waste management, education, and tourism.
