48 members of this unit have been trained by the Intervention Group of the Gendarmerie Nationale and the French National Police.<\/p>\n
Trained Police personnel will be able to intervene in a crisis whether in enclosed areas of the airport or whether in an aircraft.<\/p>\n
Since the attacks of September 11, 2001 in the United States, “the whole world is mobilized for a prevention policy against international terrorism in general and in our sub-region in particular,” said Maniratunga Albert, the Director General of International Civil Aviation <\/p>\n
