President Obama and First Lady Michelle visited the school for the National Day of Sevvice and Remembrance on September 11. The President was hoping to make a good impression on the students. Instead, he left them disappointed. <\/p>\n
One student, named Madison, told the president that she \u201creally wanted it to be Beyonce.\u201d<\/p>\n
The president had a good sense of humor about it, saying that his daughters Malia and Sasha would probably want the same thing. Madison turned her little insult into a compliment when she added, \u201cbut then I realized it was going to be you and that\u2019s even better.\u201d But the president wasn\u2019t buying it. <\/p>\n
Obama said: \u201cThanks for saying that. Especially in front of the press. Even though I know you don\u2019t mean it.\u201d<\/p>\n
