{Rwanda Media Commission (RMC) has ordered one news website, a Newspaper and one radio station to apologize to Mrs. Ingabire Victoire for the published article in which they said she is a poisoner.}<\/p>\n
The article was first published on Rwanda Paparazzi and later reappeared in Umusingi Newspaper. Radio one read the article during a Press review session.<\/p>\n
On Thursday the Media Commission says Rwanda Paparazzi Website, Umusingi Newspaper and Radio One have tarnished the image of Ingabire Victoire so they should make apologies. <\/p>\n
It all started when a tabloid Rwanda Paparazzi wrote an article claiming that Ingabire Victoire has attempted to end life of a child using poison.<\/p>\n
The website went on saying that even Ingabire grandmother was a poisoner.<\/p>\n
Victoire\u2019s Lawyer said this was unethical to tarnish the image of her client.<\/p>\n
This website was informed that in a letter addressed to Rwanda Media Commission, Mrs. Victoire requested RMC to order those media houses to apologize for publishing lies about her.<\/p>\n
During Thursday Press Conference, RMC ordered those media to apologize to Mrs. Victoire and even produce new articles clearing the tarnished image of Ingabire.<\/p>\n
